Written in 1989, originally as Fatsulation, then changed after it was first published. At some point I settled on EnFatsulation. That slanted it toward “fat” a principle factor in the story. As I did a freshener this time the obvious hit me. In the midst of the trauma of being in a Post-Apocalyptic world at the bottom of the food chain; Love is the primary driver. Bonnie loves her man, Frank, so much she goes to any length to help them survive. Injections of fat given for the body to thrive in the frigid conditions are viewed for pleasure by the wealthy. Dystopian grey would be the visual backdrop on a canvas of their world. Streaks of ominous color finish the painting where everyone must dance when ordered, even the wealthy.
